Full course description
This virtual offering provides synchronous and asynchronous, interactive learning about language and literacy, dyslexia, and methods of structured literacy. Upon completion of this course, candidates will understand how to assess and teach scientifically based word reading instruction for individual, small, and whole class learning. Additional modules for fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary are provided. The microcredential is designed for educators and specialists who teach emergent readers and those needing additional support with word recognition.
