Rogers Behavioral Health’s SAC-IT/SAC program offers mental health professionals, and students of mental health, the opportunity to obtain the substance use certification to meet the growing need for substance use counselors.
The program uses a blended learning approach (synchronous and asynchronous) which will include computer-based learning (taped lectures, courses, or videos), instructor-led lectures and discussions, individual and group activities, and cohort discussions.
After completing the required coursework, you will have access to practice exams to prepare you for taking the national (which also qualifies for Wisconsin) certification exam.
MHAR Academy
- Complete 100 hours to meet SAC-IT requirements. The only required course is Statutes
- Complete an additional 260 hours to meet SAC requirements.
