Business Spanish Certificate

Carroll’s certificate program in Business Spanish is designed for learners with little to no Spanish experience who want to gain basic familiarity with both the Spanish language and with business and cultural customs of the Spanish-speaking world. Such familiarity will allow participants to better connect with Spanish speakers while affording them broadened job prospects, career advancement opportunities, and increased salary potential. 

The program consists of a single 16-week asynchronous online course, comprising four separate modules lasting four weeks each. Modules are organized sequentially, with progressive vocabulary, grammar, and cultural units. Participants interested in beginning with any module other than the first should contact the instructor prior to registering to schedule a skills assessment. There will also be several hybrid and in-person activities spread across these four months for students who want to take advantage of community building, cultural immersion, and live instructor support.

At the completion of each four-week module, learners will earn a digital badge that they can use to demonstrate their skills to employers across mediums such as Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn. Participants may complete individual modules or the entire 16-week course to earn the full digital certificate.
